Putting Back the Pieces
Today was my long day of classes. In the morning I had Italian Cinema where we finished the 5 hour long movie called Novecento. I'm not quite sure how I feel about the movie. It was pretty violent and confusing, among other things. But it's over now, and next week we are watching one of my favorite Italian movies called Cinema Paradiso. I'm excited!
After that, I had time to grab a quick bite to eat at the snack bar, where I chose to get a zucchini pizza (a favorite from my Stella Kebab in Rome... It was not nearly as good. Oh well). From there, I had to go straight to ceramics. We worked on our vases more, I cut a lid for my container (though I have to wait to carve it because it isn't hard enough yet) and I put my rhino back together FINALLY. Here's a pic from right before I put it back together.. I'll take a picture of the whole thing again on Thursday or over the weekend when it hardens a little more.
So that's one project that is done, one that is almost done, and another that the whole class is currently working on. After 30+ hours spent outside of class on my projects, I am finally almost all caught up. Whew!
