Warthogs in Florence
Today was a productive ceramics day. My African animal series is coming along well. Today I made a wart hog, pictured below. They're funny looking creatures!
Here's another angle of the warthog.
I also finished my elephant today. I'm pretty happy with him, and I love his little tail!
So now, I have five animals done but I'll probably end up doing a few more. It's supposed to rain here on Saturday, so instead of going out I will most likely be in the ceramics studio working, though I could be done with my project now. This coming Thursday is reserved for painting the pieces and we have class on Tuesday, so I'll make another animal or two then as well because otherwise I won't have anything to do.
My evening class was worse than usual tonight. We had MFA students lecturing us on how to use our iPhone cameras... As if we didn't know. Everything they told us I already knew. And this lasted all of class (90 minutes). I have never been more happy to leave a classroom! Meanwhile, I finally received information about what classes will transfer to my new college so I am very relieved (one less thing to worry about!)
Instead of the usual Friday museum field trip, my museology professor is lecturing and it's an early class so...
Ciao for now!
