Tourists Mobbing Florence

Today was pretty busy. In the early afternoon, I headed over to my favorite pizza place on the other side of the Arno. It was a fairly nice day out, though it was a little windy, so I took the pizza to go and ate it on the steps of Santo Spirito (a nearby church). I ended up sitting there for awhile since there was free wifi! 

On the way back, I was going to go shopping but there were SO many tourists...

I also think there must have been some protest because there were a ton of cop cars and I heard megaphones. So, I went home. I ended up being super productive and wrote a nearly 10 page paper in one sitting! 

It's been a mentally draining day with paper-writing so...
